About

A Smart Safe and Cash Logistics Company Built by Operators.

DoughVault LLC is a smart safe and cash logistics technology company serving QSR operators, restaurants, retail chains, and convenience stores — built by people who spent their careers on the other side of the counter.

Our story

Built by operators, for operators.

Cash never stopped moving. What changed is that the tooling around it stayed stubbornly analog while every other part of an operator's business went real-time. Managers still count drawers by hand at midnight. Armored carriers still run routes set years ago. Deposits still sit uncredited for days while a store's working capital waits on a courier.

Our founders lived that gap from inside multi-unit operations — closing stores, chasing variances, arguing with carriers about a stop that never happened. The frustration was never the safe itself. It was that nobody owned the whole chain from the drawer to the bank statement.

DoughVault was built to own it. Validating smart safes and recyclers in the store, a managed logistics program behind them, and a single reporting layer over the top — so an operator with three stores or three hundred sees the same clarity: what's in every safe, what's been credited, what's coming, and what doesn't add up.

We work with the banks and POS systems you already have. We hold the carrier contracts so you don't have to manage them. And we measure ourselves on the same metric you do: the total cost of handling a dollar.

Our heritage

Grown out of DoughDepot's kiosk technology.

DoughVault's platform traces back to the connected-kiosk technology built at DoughDepot — unattended hardware that had to count accurately, stay online in rough retail environments, and report cleanly to a back office without anyone babysitting it. Those same disciplines — device reliability, remote monitoring, and honest reconciliation — are the foundation the safes and the logistics platform are built on today.

Our mission

Reduce operating cost.
Increase functionality.
Improve service.

For every cash-heavy business, in every market we serve.

How we operate

Four commitments.

Cost is a promise

Every proposal ships with a savings model tied to your measured volume. If the numbers don't hold, we say so before you sign — not after.

Functionality over features

We build what operators use daily: visibility, reconciliation, accountability. If it only looks good in a demo, it doesn't ship.

Service is the product

Hardware is table stakes. What separates a good program from a bad one is who answers when a safe jams on a Saturday night.

Own the escalation

Carrier missed the stop? Bank flagged a deposit? That's our call to make and our problem to fix. Your GM has a store to run.

Leadership

The team behind the vault.

Operators, logistics veterans, and engineers who have run the routes, counted the drawers, and rebuilt the process from the store floor up.
